    Historical Data Download - IQ Feed Crashes

    Hi,

    Have been trying to download historical data for the NASDAQ top 100 through IQ Feed for use in Playback. The IQ Feed client crashes after a couple of mins, looking at the stats on IQ Feed the number of clients connected constantly increases and it gets to around 1000 then crashes.

    Was set to download tick data for ask, bid and last. Tried for 5 days a couple of times then limited to the current day but encountered the same problem each time.

    I've used the IQ Feed API before and had similar problems and had to limit the number of clients connected (limited it to around 200 and ran fine).

    Thank you for your post.
    So we may reproduce this on our end can you provide what intervals you selected to download and data type and the Start Date and End Date.

      Hi,

      Strangely I couldn't reproduce the error last night but when trying today I'm receiving constant messages stating the symbol is invalid (screenshot attached). This creates many warning message so I had to kill the process and start NinjaTrader again. I could still load charts fine for the symbols it stated was invalid (e.g. NFLX).

      Tried restting the Reset DB command and Update Instruments but still the same problem.

        Can you send me your log and trace files so I may investigate what is occurring further?

            Kinetick Data crashes too

            I have the same issue with Kinetick Minute Data. See pics...

              Hello,
              We have been unable to reproduce this.
              Can you verify if this is occurring with Beta 5?
