Strategy Analyser working sporadically?

Hi

I am having problems working with the Strategy Analyser, in that when I run the backtest, it sometimes works, and sometimes does not.

For example - When I follow these steps:
1) Start Ninjatrader
2)Files- New - Strategy Analyser
3)Select "SampleMACrossOver" strategy
4)Click "Backtest" in right top corner
5)Ensure settings are correct for Day etc
6)Click "Run Backtest"

It comes up with no trades etc.

It is as if the Strategy Analyser has not been initiated or something. When I then click on an instrument in the Default list it brings up the Instrument Editor. I click OK, and then try the backtest again, and now it works.


I get the same problem when I edit my own strategy. For example, after a bit of trial and error, I get my strategy to work, and I verify the trades on the Chart. All is good. Then, I make a change to my strategy, click Compile, and through the Wizard to Finish. However, when I now try to run the backtest, the results doesn't change. It seems stuck? Even when I change the Backtest strategy from my own to the "SampleMACrossOver", the results does not change.

If I then again double-click the Product, and close the Instrument Editor, and run the backtest again, it suddenly works.

Please advise? I don't think I am doing anything wrong?
