Included below are detailed instructions for getting started with NinjaTrader.

Download and install NinjaTrader

1. Click here to register and access the download page.
2. Download the "current release", click "run" not "save" when
   the download box appears.
3. Follow the instructions to add the simulation license key as provided
   in the license key email *

*A simulation license key will be sent to the email address provided as part of the registration process. If you do not receive it shortly after filling out the registration form, it may have been routed to your spam folder so please check there.

Attention!

Upon entering the license key, if you get an invalid license or license expired message when entering the license key it is one of two items. The license key has been entered incorrectly, or a firewall is blocking the license from verifying and you need to authorize NinjaTrader in the firewall exception list.

Create a connection to a broker or market data vendor

   for creating a connection.
2. Once you have created and named your connection, this is how you connect
   to it: From the NinjaTrader Control Center window, select the menu “File > New > Connect” and then the data connection you just created.

Getting Educated

NinjaTrader has built-in context sensitive help, just select a specific item when you have NinjaTrader open, then hit F1 on your keyboard, and help specific to the selected item will appear.
