Prior to setting up an Barchart.com account connection you must have installed NinjaTrader.
Please review the installation guide for further instructions.

In order to set up an account connection to Barchart.com, you must have a valid "Barchart.com for NinjaTrader" account and received a user name and password from them.

I don't have a Barchart.com account but wish to view their pricing model and sign up.

* Standard Barchart.com subscription will not work. You must have an account based on the sign up page linked above.

1. Start NinjaTrader
2. From within the Control Center window, select “Tools > Account Connections...”
3. In the Account Connection Set Up window, press Add...
4. Follow the instructions provided in the Connection Wizard
5. As per the image below, enter in the information provided by Barchart.com
6. Complete the wizard
7. If you plan to monitor FX, please follow instructions below
   

FOREX Requirements

If you are monitoring curency (forex) instruments with Barchart.com you must set the quote display to show prices in 1/10th pips.

1. Start NinjaTrader
2. From within the Control Center window, select "Tools > Options"
3. Select the "Misc" tab
4. Select "TenthPip" option for "Quote currencies (FX) in:" setting as per the image below

Things You Should Know

• Historical tick data is currently aggregated with full unfiltered coming around summer of 08
• Market depth only available for selected instruments such as futures
