I am receiving the following error message:
"Run-Time Error '-xxxxxxxxxxx': File or Assembly name NinjaTrader.Client, or one of its dependencies, was not found." I am calling some NT functions from Excel when I get this error message. I had no porblems with this setup as of last week. NT 6.5.1005 and Excel (on Windows XP) were able to interact without problems as of last week. However, I installed VS Studio Express 2008 over the weekend so I thought that might be causing the problem. Anyway, I have gone through a long list of things to try to correct this: 1) I followed the instructions listed on Aaron Stebner's Blog about uninstalling the .Net Framework (this was mentioned in another NT thread ) and reinstalling it. I then reinstalled NT. This left me with the .Net 3.5 framwork along wiht 2.0 and 3.0. 2) I tried uninstalling .Net 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0 and then reinstalling 2.0 and 3.0. 2) I went barebones and removed all .Net frameworks except .Net 1.1. I then uninstalled NT 6.5. Next, I installed .Net Framework 2.0 (following the link from the NT installation guide on your website). Finally, I installed NT 6.5.1.004 (the previous version of NT). My computer has the following installed as of now: Windows XP .Net Framework 2.0 NinjaTrader 6.5.1.004 NT installs and runs fine except for this error. Again, I want to point out that this was working as of last week. How do I fix this? Thanks. |

When you uninstall please also try deleting the NinjaTrader 6.5 directory in your My Documents. Please note that you will lose all indicators/strategies/data/etc. in the process. I suggest you backup your things before trying this step.

I uninstalled NT and removed the NT6.5 folder under MyDocuments. I then reinstalled 6.5.1005, but that did not fix the problem.
