Default Unable To Re-Install NT

I've used NT for 2 to 3 months now. Yesterday, I couldn't get it to open.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder

Going through the support forum, I've tried clearing my browser cache,
tried "Add/Remove Programs"(but couldn't delete NT), deleted all NT folders, did Search and deleted NT references, tried on Firefox. I get the same message above. I'm at a loss esp as I'm not a techie.

Please help.

Default Installation Package?

Is it possible to send a "tmp94.tmp" as a file to me? This appears to be the missing file. Thanks.

.tmp are Windows temporary files so we can't send you that. Please uninstall NT. Clear your browser cache. Redownload NT. Reinstall NT.

Default Unable To Uninstall NT

From Add/Remove programs, I tried uninstall but "The path C\Docume~1\etc keeps popping up each time I try. I've manually deleted all NT folders, deleted cookies, history, and downloaded NT Installer, run the set up and still get the same message from Windows Installer.

I note another user with same problem went into registry & removed all instances of NT. How do I get to the registry?

Tks.

Given a choice, I rather not go into the registry...
Isn't there a simple way to fix this? I cant even reinstall over the
spoilt version in my laptop. Hope someone is looking?

Thank you.

Hello,

Just to check, are you deleting the NinjaTrader(s) folder from Documents? after you go to add/remove?

In "Add/Remove" programs, I tried deleting NT6.5 but the same message "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you have access to it" pops up. So, I can't even delete this. After that, I deleted the NT folders in My Documents, cleared my browser cache, went to NT download page, downloaded latest version,
installer runs and after 23.3mb, same message pops up...everytime.

I even re-registered, received a key pin (which is always the same), input it as required, went through the same process .... and same message.

I'm at wits end. If there's no NT on my laptop now, how can the installer keep prompting me for that "tmp94.tmp" folder? Can't it create a new one?

Please don't tell me to Uninstall cos I can't.

Hello,

Could you please check if your Windows user account you are using has administrator rights.

If not, please have this enabled and check if the issue persists.

Hi Jason,

Yes, I'm the only one using my laptop. I have full administrator rights.
It is enabled. I tried downloading again, same problem. I've gone through all my folders hoping to find that tmp94 file but no avail.

Thanks and regards.

Hello,

Could you please tell me if you installed Service Pack 1 for .NET 3.5 recently.

Please confirm you now have deleted all NinjaTrader files, but you cannot complete the download.

If so, please check for software that could be blocking the download, such as (corporate) firewalls, pop up blockers and anti-virus software and temporarily disable them.

If you use a router in your internet connection setup, please try connecting your computer directly to your modem, bypassing the router, and check if this will make a difference.

Hi Jason,
No, I don't have .Net 3.5 installed. I tried downloading direct from modem and still unsuccessful.

I got around all the problem by changing hard disks. It's all ok now. Thank you.
