Hello,
I am interested in running strategies from the strategies tab in the control box. But to do that I need to specify a start date for the strategy to be sure that there are enough bars. I am running NT 6.5.1000.5 and I cannot find the from date as an input parameter in the time frame section of the 'New strategy' window that I open from the 'control centre'. I checked the NT documentation online and the screen snapshot in the 'Running NT script from strategies tab' section contains the from date in the time frame section. has there been a change in NT since the documentation was produced? If not how can I define a start date for the strategy? What is the default period that NT assumes if no start date is defined? Thanks for your help. regards, |

The default days back is based on the settings under Tools > Options > Data, check the "Chart default look back period (days)" section.
