I run Ninja Trader with a Gain demo feed using ninja trader servers. Everything was fine until my pc went to sleep and now I have the following error:
"Failed to connect to the Rates interface: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established co" I've seen previous posts suggesting the problem is with the Gain feed but I also have another pc with identical gain demo feed settings and that one works fine. Any ideas? |

Then likely you power save management is causing the issue. Please restart NT and turn of your PC power management

Did that but no difference.
I don't think power management is the problem. I think the problem was caused by power management (i.e. lost connection to server) but the actual problem now is that the pc is back up and running and the connection to the server is still severed. |

FYI, I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Ninja Trader and deleted all the config files. Problem still exists.

Then you need to contact GAIN support, since their servers can't be reached.

Can confirm this was a Gain issue. Connection back up and can close this thread.
