While I was scrolling in a chart with right arrow key, I didn't realize that another chart that is in the same instrument stop updating its real-time data, but as soon as I release the key to stop scrolling, that other chart is updating itself with pending data.

Is this an expected behavior or because of my CPU resource, I notice it is somewhere between 50-60% when I scroll ?

Could be the case if you are on a dual-core machine, since all UI related stuff is processed in the app's main thread which only runs on one core (thus load ~ 50%, if the 2nd core is idle).

Does it mean bad ? or any better alternatives ? Core 2 Duo maybe ?

Nope, won't help. This is just a windows limitation (not even a .NET one): all UI related stuff (painting...) needs to run in the app's main thread.
