This has been driving me crazy. Let me explain...
I am currently using four charts, with different time frames, of the same instrument. So I'm constantly switching back and forth between these charts by selecting them from the task bar at the bottom of the computer screen. The Microsoft tabs on the task bar will only display a certain number of characters. If you have several Applications open, even fewer characters. The format of info for the title bar of the chart window is: Instrument, Expiration date, MM/DD/YYYY, Time interval. When I look down at the task bar, all I see is on the tabs is... Instrument, Experation date, MM/DD/YYYY I'm constantly opening the wrong display. If you could just change the order of the chart window info to... Instrument, Expiration date, Time interval, MM/DD/YYYY This would resolve this issue. Time intervals would then display on task bar. Thanks, RJay

Will this not be an issue if there are tabs in NT7?

eDanny makes a very good point. Based on that the order should be Time interval,Instrument, Expiration date, MM/DD/YYYY because tabs will be shorter than titles and so be truncated even more. Putting the Time Interval first means that there will more likely be enough information displayed to identify the tab that you want. Even then "(1-Min) ES 06-09 4/3/2009" may be too long so the parens should be removed and the Time Interval abbreviated more.
