Installation Problem with V 3.027

I previously (about a year (or two) ago had version 2.04 running which I had uninstalled.

I am back now and had tried to install Ninja Trader V3.027

I received the following error

"Ninja Trader V3.01.exe - Common Language Runitme Debugging Services

Application has generated as exception that could not be handled

Process id=0x5f0 (1520),. Thread id=0x5f4 (1524)"

I uninstalled and reinstalled the .Net components, Jet dll and everything else on the list...

I then tried to install v3.027 as wellprevious versions and received the same error for v2.04 and v1.01

I am running Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 2

Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks

First the solution -

You need to install TWS API 7.3 which you can download here -

http://www.ninjatrader.com/InstallAX73.exe

Now for the question -

Is there any reason why you are using V3 instead of using V4?

Thanks for pointing out the one thing I overlooked.

Just getting started again so will use the light edition for paper trading for a while until I am ready to start using real money...
