Drawn obstacles disappear in lower timeframe

Hi,
Everytime I draw something in higher timeframe, for ex, a rectangle, it can show clearly. But when I switch into lower timeframe, it doesn't exist, or may disappear after a certain period, even if I set end date of rectangle to a future date like Dec 31st 2013. Can you please help out? Thanks.

Hello Mybzi,

There is a known issue with our drawing objects. Unfortunately, drawing objects can disappear when their anchor points are not close enough in display. I suspect this is the case. Please navigate to one of the anchor points of the drawing object and check if it will appear.

You can check the anchor points of the drawing object as follows. Open the Properties menu (double click drawing object) of the drawing object and select the Data-tab.

Thanks for your note.

I tried but still don't quite understand how to show those objects.Take following case as an example, attachment 1 is Daily chart with propertities, attachment 2 is 15 min chart which can show blue rectangles, just one bar later, it disappears, shown in attachment 3.

How can I fix this issue? or it's known as a bug, cann't be fixed?

Thanks for providing these images.

As we suspected, an anchor point (one of the four corners in this case) is dropping off of the displayed portion of the chart. Due to this, the drawing object is not displayed - all anchor points must be within the visual range of a chart for the drawing object to paint. There is no work-around to this which can be applied in NinjaTrader 7 however this is something which we're working to change in our next major release of the software.
