Hello,
I've got MBTrading to trade forex & Esignal feed for futures and MB backup. I created both connection with backup for Esignal and try to connect to both of them but: -- If I connect first to MB I don't seem to have any data for futures... -- If I connect to Esignal I don't seem to get data from MB... What would be the best way to have those 2 connections? Thanks |

In your MBT account using MB Navigator by itself...Do you *ONLY* have access to FX and not to any futures data?

Yes I think so as I applied for a forex account there through EFX Group.

Sorry for the delay. This is a current limitation and I am still considering how to provide a clean and simple approach to make it work. We likely will have a solution on next 6.5 update.

Unfortunately we will not be able to do anything until later this year on this. As a workaround, you can run NT on two machines and connect one to eSignal and the other to EFX.

Do you think that would work if I don't use Esignal as a backup for MB?
Or trade with Esignal feed through MB (can use market order as the system is short term?). Thanks

No, that's not the problem. In a nutshell, when you are connected to MBT and then eSignal, MBT connection believes it supports futures, forex and equities. Historically this has been the case. With EFX, its only FX although it uses MBT technology thus, as you request data for a stock, NT thinks it can get the data from MBT and never rolls to eSignal for it.
