NinjaTrader Trading Technologies Agreement Announcement

Dear NinjaTrader Subscriber:

We recognize that in addition to providing industry leading technology it has been you, our customer, that is responsible for the incredible success of the NinjaTrader platform since its’ inception several years ago. You drive us to deliver best in class technology and service at an affordable price and we quickly execute to meet your requirements. You have provided us with invaluable feedback to our recent notes regarding the Trading Technologies (TT) license agreement, and as a result we have once again taken immediate action to address your requests.

The number one customer request has been to provide an option for a SuperDOM that is NOT subject to the TT license fees. We have executed on this request and I am happy to tell you we will have this option with our next version 5 update when we introduce our new Dynamic SuperDOM, click here for more details. You are now empowered to decide whether you want to use a NinjaTrader SuperDOM with or without TT licensing fees.

In addition to providing you with choice and flexibility on which order entry interface you can use, we also want to reward you for your loyalty and feedback as part of this process. So starting January 1, 2006, we will be adding NinjaTrader Charts to everyone’s existing subscription at no additional charge (previously an additional $20.00 USD per month). We have also negotiated an agreement with eSignal on your behalf whereby they will offer a historical and live data feed service for futures market data exclusively to NinjaTrader subscribers at the substantially discounted rate of $30.00 USD per month. This provides you with a cost affective option for historical chart back fill data in the event that this service is not available through your broker. This will be available early in 2006.

So as a NinjaTrader subscriber, what do I need to do next?

We will release NinjaTrader version 5.x later this week with the no TT license fee dynamic price ladder SuperDOM and Basic Entry order entry screens enabled by default. If you decide to use this version of NinjaTrader, no further action is needed once you have it downloaded and configured.

If you decide that you would like to use NinjaTrader version 4.x or version 5.x with the static price ladder SuperDOM which is subject to the TT license fees, please locate the link below that is specific to your trading set-up, click on the associated link, and follow the directions as shown at the link. I have also summarized at the end of this note the benefits provided by the NinjaTrader TT license agreement. You can see that with your help, we have a taken a complex issue and created the best of all possible situations from it.
