I'm trying to create a chart for stock symbol ftk however, I get this message
"unable to subscribe to market data. please assign an additional echange to this instrument in the Instrument Manager FTK Defaul" and "Error on loading chart datea for "FTK default". Unable to change order. Please assign an additional exchange to this instrument in the Instrument Manager FTK Default" Not sure what this means. |

Thank you for your note. Can you tell me the following: - What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About, this will look like 7.0.1000.x - Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

Some instruments will need extra configuration to work correctly from IB/TWS. You will first need to look up the exchange that is being reported from TWS and manually input this information into NinjaTrader.
Please see the following forum post which covers this topic in detail: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=45833 If you have multiple symbols that need to be configured, you can also import a list of stocks and assign an exchange to the entire list, rather than reconfiguring each instrument one a time.
