Default Interactive Broker datafeed for options contracts

This is probably a newbie question. I am trying to connect Ninjatrader to TWS, that wouldnt be a problem by looking up reference manual. but I am just curious, if it is setup correctly, how do I get quote for Options contract. Because I am an Options trader through IB, I dont trade Equities. I also would like utilize NT to Backtest Options trading strategies. Is it possible?

Thanks,
SL

Hello SL,

Unfortunately, Options are currently not supported in NinjaTrader.

NinjaTrader support futures, forex and equities.

I will second this request. With the explosive growth of the derivative markets, you will be missing out a LOT if option trading is not supported!

I know supporting options takes a lot of work.
I am not suggesting NT to support full fledged option trading like thinkorswim or OptionsXpress with volatility and all the delta/theta analysis or multi-leg strategies, etc.
But if we can do the following, say doing strategy on AAPL but auto trade on its option, say, buy or sell it's Dec 540 call or put (fixed symbol and input in UI), that will help a lot!!
