Default unable to login (13): permission error

Hi,

I met a login issue today with zen-fire demo account.

NT pops up a window "unable to login (13): permission error". I searched the forum and found there was a same discussion at 2011. but I didn't find out a solution on this.

could anyone help me on this? the zen-fire demo is not expired yet. so it should not be the issue of account.

Hello snowbig,

Some time ago, Zen-Fire/NinjaTrader demo users that connect from a machine that had a demo in the past will be automatically disabled. Could this be the case for you? If so, please contact the broker that provided you the demo login credentials and they will be able to further assist you.

If not, please send me your Config.xml file so I can test your connection on my end. You can find this file at C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7. Please attach the file in an email which you can send to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason, unable to login (13): permission error ' in the subject header.

have solved this issue with my network operator

it's network connectivity issue. After altering network ip, I can login NT with zen-fire connection.

Default met the same issue again:(

changing my ip can not solve this issue. so I had to come here again for help. attach trace files for your reference...

Could it be the demo connection expired? Zen-Fire demo connections are only valid for 2 weeks I believe. Please check with the broker that provided you the demo connection.

it should not be expired because I just apply a new demo account.

is there a way to confirm that it's zen-fire demo account issue or others?

Please see post #2 and proceed accordingly. I assume you are trying to connect to a second demo connection on the same computer.

I have not seen any similar reports from other Zen-Fire demo users.

have confirmed with Zen-Fire. yes, Zen-Fire just allows one demo account to be used at one machine.
