I was downloading 120 days of tick data for the ES ##-## from the Historical Data Manager. The ticks downloaded, but the HDM hung, everything grayed out. In the Control Center status bar, it says "Saving".
I tried restarting Ninja multiple times, rebooted computer, did a db repair, tried removing the instrument from Ninja, manually deleted all the ES data files and some other stuff I forgot. I can't get the "Saving" to go away. Also, upon starting NT, the status bar shows "Loading ES"... for the entire period I originally attempted to download ticks for. Can't stop that either. I do understand 120 days is a huge amount of tick data for ES, but in my defense I allowed over 3 hours for the task to complete before even touching computer. How can I get things back to normal in the status bar? |

coolmoss,
Is there an option to abort? Sometimes this shows up as a button in the lower right of the control center for various data requests. Who is your data provider?

No abort button. I've left NT open all day and the status panel is just stuck like this:
control center.png So far, all other functionality seems okay, other than ES ##-## not wanting to load in charts. Thanks very much for the weekend reply! EDIT: after several reboots and restarts, it seems to be okay
