Default trading among different exchanges

Hi everyone,

is it possible to also trade on different exchanges? Buying a security in New York and sell it somewhere else?

Best regards,

Frederic

Hello Frederic,

Unfortunately this is not possible. Selling the instrument on a different exchange will not close your position. It will cause a new short position, while you are still in a long position on the initial exchange.
