      Hello patbateman,

      Thanks for writing in.

Sledge is correct. NinjaTrader's charts are based off of your local pc time and to have your charts match the US market would require you to update and sync your pc clock.

Please use the steps below to change your Time Zone and sync the PC clock, note to set the server to time.nist.gov.

You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Press 'Change time zone...' Set the Time zone and press 'OK'.

Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

For the changes to take affect you will need to restart NinjaTrader.

If there is anything further I may assist you with don't hesitate to ask.

          Hello patbateman,

          Thanks for your reply.

If your NinjaTrader charts are still not updated you may be missing some Windows updates.

Below I have provided a link to Microsoft's August 2011 cumulative time zone update for Windows operating systems.
The update that this article describes changes the time zone data to accommodate daylight saving time (DST) changes in several countries. This update also includes other DST-related changes, time zone-related changes, and settings-related changes. Some of these changes have occurred since the products that are listed in the "Applies to" section were originally released.

Please install the update for your computer and restart NinjaTrader

If you still are unable to get your charts to update please send a note to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com saying Attention Brandon and make a reference to this thread.

If there is anything further I may assist you with don't hesitate to ask.
