Hello,
will a trailing stop work for both long and short orders? When I try to put in discretionary stops for sell orders (above the price), it won't take them. I was just wondering if short automated orders will take them.... thanks so much.

crimsonite,
Yes, trail stops can be used to protect both long and short positions.. This doesn't mean that a sell stop order is accepted above the last traded price though. This order wouldn't be accepted anywhere you place it. |
