Hi,
I know it's a very common error but I haven't been able to solve it for myself so far. I wanted to add the following security to my instrument list "LYY8". Since the historical data manager works for other securities I am sure, that the IB connection is well established. However, for the above mentioned security I get the following error: IB no security definition has been found for request( 200)(Panic) and for this security "M9SM" I get the error message: No market data permission for EBS, SWB STK (Panic). Certainly, it seems like I don't have permission to obtain data from SWB which is true actually. On the other hand, these securities also trade on Xetra, which I have setup when adding the security. Any ideas on this? ps: NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.8 TWS: Build 923.5a |

Hello cashmoney,
Thanks for your post. If you were to load this instrument within the Portfolio tab of TWS, which exchange would be listed for the instrument?

IBIS (Xetra) for both of them. I've been trading these for a long time. I just signed up for the SWB datafeed and the error message changed to No market data permission for EBS, STK (Panic).
This is kind of random ![]() Thanks for you help and patience |

Hi,
Could you please provide the section of the error message which mentioned the instrument name - exchange should be listed after that symbol; is Xetra the exchange mentioned or perhaps Default?

However, "default" (exchanges) remains ticked even after removing it.

Hello cashmoney,
Do you receive real-time data if you select the ALV in a SuperDOM or Control Center-->Orders-tab? Am I correct you experience these errors for SWB stocks only? If these stocks are listed only as per the SWB exchange in IB, you will need to use the SWB exchange in NinjaTrader as well.
