If NinjaTrader had implemented the SuperDOM prior to TradingTechnologies getting their patent, then does NinjaTrader really need to pay for something that was ALREADY implemented?

There must be something? Or can you make Trading Technologies' patent invalid because they stole the idea from Ninja or another execution platform?

On a different note, the platform that will not have the SuperDOM, will there be development kits for NinjaTrader so we can upgrade certain features ourselves?

Thanks

The patent is valid and we chose to license their technology. If you want to build your own trading application you are welcome to use our NinjaTrader framework -

Ray,

I've just learned today about the TT License Fee . . . that's too bad. For those of us who plan to use the ATI to submit trades butlike to use the DOM for discretionary monitoring of trades, can fees be avoidedif the DOM is not used to initiate or close positions but merely to monitor automated trades? Will you offer a version of the software that enables strategy execution but not necessarily offer a DOM GUI? Thanks.

A message will be going out later tonight. However in short:

- There will be a non-SuperDOM version offered
- Using the SuperDOM to monitor a trade still takes advantage of its usability and is subject to TT fees
