Hello
Is it possible to load template to Chart after finished backtest in Strategy Analyzer without losing all the markers (Buy/Sell/etc). For example now I can add indicators manually to a Chart from Strategy Analyzer's results. But when I want to load predefined set (right click, Templates, Load) it will erase all buy-sell points and the arrows. :/ Another thing - after I saved "Default" profile for the Chart I expected I will have it loaded by default. Now I have every new Chart blank (without indicators) every time I change Instrument name. All best, o. |

Does the chart template you are loading have 'Plot Executions' set to 'TextAndMarker' or is this disabled?
Can you clarify on your last point - are you saying you lose applied indicators when you change the instrument from an existing chart?

Hi,
I have this enabled in File -> New -> Chart But when I access the Chart via the Tab in the Strategy Analyzer there is no such possibility (Data Series - from right mouse - is inactive). From what I understand template settings do not apply to the Chart in Strategy Analyzer. Am I right? Regards, O. |

My scenario is:
1) I use my Strategy by clicking right on the group, for example "Nasdaq 100" 2) selecting "Backtest" 3) select any Instrument (template of the Chart is always "blank") 4) there is an option to save new default, but when you do it it erases all markers All best, o. |

Hello,
Unfortunately you would not be able to configure this through the UI at this time. You will need to have your indicators by using the Add() method in your strategy an adding the indicators you wish to plot. Please see our Reference Sample on adding Indicators to a Strategy - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ead.php?t=3228

Sounds like a good solution.
I will try it. Thanks! |
