Hi Ray and allIs there any way we can get better spreads for forex. For now the only currency possible for me to make money is EUR/USD. I did talk to Gain and they said Ninja accounts do not qualify for better spreads even if we make the account bigger. Any another broker that would offer a better deal so we can trade more pairs? Thank you in advance! |

Hello,
At this time, it is only possible to trade forex with Gain Capital. However, there are plans to add another forex broker in the near future. We do not have a name or ETA yet when this will happen.

Hi Jason
Is there any way to negotiate better spreads or a comission system with Gain since it is the only broker, so would be possible for us to trade different pairs. Near future means ( Month, weeks, days) ? Thank you very much for all! |

Hi,
Sorry for playing dumb, stocks, futures and probably options(?) are supported for IB but not FX? I'd have my doubts about a broker who negociates spreads.

Forex.com has a new web api that accepts http gets and posts. is there a way to send http or http custom formatted streams to the new forex.com and gain.com web api interface in NT? Alternatively is there a way to write to a text file or similar so i can pick up with other custom program?
Thank you, HB |

Unfortunately this is not supported however, if you want to do custom strategy or indicator development, we make NinjaScript available. Please see the Help Guide for further information.

Sorry, not sure what you mean by "winhttp". Since NinjaScript basically is C# you can code anything in NinjaScript which you could code in C#.

.NET has a bunch of classes for HTTP access. Just look it up in the C# DOCS at MSDN.COM. However, if this is what you want to do, you have no need to use NinjaTrader, just code your own application.

I use Ninja Trader because I absolutely love the product. As a developer I can appreciate the intuitive design and it makes my chores for automated trading easier. I just don't want to be limitted to Gain for Forex so i'll use the system call advice. I should have thought of that. Thank you.

What is automated trading to IB's customers if it's just limited to stocks and futures? |
