Default Time zone difference

Hi NT staff,

I see a data display issue when shifting time zone back and forth.
When changing the time zone from central to UTC and back to central, the price display cannot resume. The time stamp will be still UTC. And the price pattern is changed. The price pattern will have two identical data pattern from both UTC and central displayed on chart.

I found both central and UTC data in the db folder. By deleting UTC data manually, I can recover the "true" price pattern.

This is a probelm. As traders travel, they may change the PC clock to local time. And such change will result in different price pattern and wrong trades.

By the way, I am using IB, which time stampes bar with PC clock.

Hi binwang2,

If you make any time or time zone changes, you should always restart NinjaTrader so that these can be properly reflected. Please let us know if this does not address what you are seeing when switching time zones.
