Hello,
I'm trying to connect using IB TWS. I've changed my TWS settings according to http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...tion-Guide.php. When I try to connect from NT7, the TWS login screen comes up. I successfully enter my authentication codes and TWS loads. The problem is that TWS then closes after 1 min and NT7 keeps opening and closing TWS, never forming a connection. What do I need to change? |

Hello,
Thanks for the forum post. Please remove out the username and password and re-enter them. This is normally a sign that the username and password are not correctly entered. Also, to be clear your not getting any error? I look forward to assisting you further.

Thanks for the quick reply. I removed the username and password, then attempted to reconnect. The problem persists.
I do not get any errors in the NT7 log other than a TimeOut waiting for TWS. Also, TWS never prompts me to accept the incoming API attempt like it did in older versions. |

Can you please go into the configure menu for TWS and make sure under API that the Active X connections are enabled as detailed in this connection guide.
