Export TICK-NYSE data

I have exported data to a txt file using the Historical data manager. I selected a start data of 27.06.2011 and end data of 02.09.2011. The txt file was succesfully created, but in fact the data was exported only from the period 12.07.2011 till 19.07.2011 and from 29.08.2011 to 02.09.2011. So instead of 50 days data as i wanted, i have got only 10 days.
What am i doing wrong? My data provider is IB, should i asked them?

Hello Sheriff,

Thank you for your post.

Please try loading the chart with the same date frame and interval that you are trying to export. If the chart loads the data, try the export again. If the chart does not load the data, then you will want to check that you are connected to TWS and receiving that data through IB.

I have tried to plot the chart with the same result. I have a gap with no data between 19.07 to 29.08 and also didnt plot data before the 12.07.
Connection with IB through TWS is working. Maybe has something to do with this that today is sunday, i will try to load the data tomorrow. If not i will contact you again or IB.

Taking a step back, which instrument are you working with here. Also, could you provide me with a copy of the data? (via email if needed)

I am trying to download / plot data of the NYSE-TICK. Ticker of the instrument is ^TICK.
I send you attached downloaded data.

HI Sheriff,

Can you provide me with an image of your chart so that I can take a look at the gap, please?
To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

It is strange but i have plot the file now to send you the screenshot and i have got full data. I have tried to export data to txt and everything is working properly now.
Anyway if it will happen again i will send you the image attached.
