I notice that the daily bars are still not configurable in terms of session start and end times. Is this going to be the case for the future? It would seem that the instrument manager would be the place to put this info.
I realize that I can use minute charts to synthesize daily session start and end. for example having the ES, NQ start at 4:30pm and end at 4:15pm (thanks for this new capability) However the pivot indicator maps to the elusive and unknowable day definition. Any plans to enable the pivot indicator to map to the configured session start and end times? I also appreciate the capability to manually enter hi/lo/close into the pivot indicator, however this is just a modest improvement over drawing pivots manually since it will not plot previous days pivots. Debating whether to sharpen my coding pencil er.. keypunch machine (however by the time I get it coded we will be at version 7.0). Any plans to update the pivots indicator to take advantage of 6.5 capabilities? |

Daily bars will likely never be configureable since daily bars are based of daily bars and however we get them from the data providers is independant of any session definitions we could set.
Pivot indicators will use the intraday user defined session times.

Thanks for the usual timely response. When will the pivot indicators move to using session times? If my testing and primitive attempts to read code are correct, they are not there yet?btw 6.5 looks great

Pivot indicator does already use session time as defined by your chart. Always has.
