Question Deleting Trades

I watch a live trade service that has better than a 90% success rate. This seems to be too good to be true and I am trying to determine if there is some smoke and mirrors being used.

The service only shows charts never a DOM or Chart Trader. I never see a trade placed. The only time I see a trade on a chart is after it has hit its first target.

I am wondering if there is a way to place a trade and delete it or somehow not show it on a chart if it is not successful. All the successful trades do show on the chart.

Tom, it is possible to delete executions, but I'm not sure if the trades would also be erased on the chart.

It does sound like there could be some trickery involved, like using multiple accounts and only showing the good ones.

Default No multiple accounts

I thought of the multiple account possibility but that doesn't work. All of the successful trades are visible on single charts. It wouldn't be possible to use one account only for losers and one for winners.

Tom, this is true. Perhaps he is running a delayed feed or maybe Market Replay? I would be very cautious dealing with someone who doesn't show the entire lifespan of a trade.

This is why it is so curious. I am following his trades on my own Ninja Trader and they are in sync with maybe a second delay which is quite understandable for the webinar software.

It will be interesting to see if someone else picks up on this.
