Hello -

(please see .jpg attached).

I am trying to put a position strategy on a stock that is already in my portfolio.

1. Set up a Position Strategy for this stock.
2. Go to the "Accounts" area
3. Right-click on the stock itself
4. Pop up window: create a position strategy
5. When I try to load the position strategy, I get the following error message:
"You can't load this strategy since it was not support the current instrument".

Thanks for your ongoing help on these issues.

- Pete

Pete,

Until the update, can you just take out the $ or whatever is driving the error?

chip

BTW, nice jpg to document the problem

I haven't figured out yet if I can work around this problem in this version (I'll try to remove the $ sign on Monday and see what happens). The easiest way to deal with thisseems to beto set up the strategy on the fly during the "Create" step, rather than assigning a pre-set strategy.

If you figure out asmoother way to deal with this, please let me know - thanks.

Hello Again -

Well, this seems to have fixed the problem for the main position strategy - thanks much - I'm impressed with the quick turnaround! However, when I set the Stop Strategy in the "Create" window, I'm getting a similar problem. The message reads:

"The selected stop strategy does not support the position's instrument".

Thanks,

- Pete
