I had multiple orders open when Ninja stopped working. The problem I run into is if I restart NT7, it will submit orders complete stops, fill targets,etc..These are the orders that were still open at the time I had to close NT7. I have since closed these orders via my broker. How do I prevent NT7 from submitting these when I restart and connect to my broker and placing me in new positions?

Hi Jim68,
Thank you for your post. Upon restarting and reconnecting to your broker, NinjaTrader will request an update on the pending orders and open positions. Once NinjaTrader receives the update these orders/positions should be cleared from the system.

That hasn't been my experience in the past. It has filled stops and put me into long position or vice versa when connecting to the broker.

Jim68,
One thing you could do, then, is to rename the NinjaTrader database.Doing so will cause NinjaTrader to create a new database on start up. Because of this, ATM strategy templates, custom instruments and instrument lists will need to be recreated. Order and execution history will be lost. (which will clear any pending orders as well) To rename the database:
