Default Setting processor priority higher for NT

Hi. Would it help NT at all to set the processor proirity higher in task manager (e.g., to AboveNormal or High)? I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2, with a single P4 3.6 processor.

Thank you.

Regards,

Hi. It was a question rather than a suggestion. Does it improve NT performance to increase the processor priority?

Thanks.

Jango

It will only help if there are other heavy CPU programs on your computer.
Otherwise, it's a 'do-nothing' .. and can usually end up creating problems.
