Default Zen Fire down?

Does anyone know if Zen is down for maintenance again this weekend? I'm unable to connect at the moment. Thnx

Saturday Noon EST.

Unable to auto connect to ZenFire. But can instantly connect when I do it manually through File | Connect | Zenfire.

Looks like somebody has been altering the code.

Hello

Thank you for your post.

[10:07 a.m. MST] I have an email into Zen-Fire to check on current status and any updates. Most likely it is server maintenance so connectivity would be somewhat intermittent.

I will post any news I receive on this issue.

9:40am Pacific....

Also currently cannot connect to Zen on 2 machines this morning...though was able to connect on one machine the first time I tried a few minutes ago......now neither machine will connect...

Hello

Still waiting on confirmation from the vendor but what you describe is most likely a result of server maintenance.

Same continuing issue here too...

Think this is more of an issue since this problem seems to spread throughout ur database..
Guess some sort of notice would be a nice touch!!!

Default Info from Zen....

Received this info from Pat at Zen-Fire this morning....

"Data centers do maintenance on Saturdays so connectivity will always be intermittent when everything is closed. The maintenance window is from Friday at 8pm to Sunday at 11am."

Also...at 12 noon PDT Saturday....connection to Zen works OK now....

Hello

Alfred’s post relays the same info I received from Zen-Fire.

Auto-connect might not be the best option if your data provider/connection performs their maintenance at times when you are accessing the platform; e.g. weekends. It has also been suggested that an alert mechanism be implemented that would notify users when maintenance has been scheduled and our Development Department is researching this further.
