Hi. I have played around with NT simulation for some time and set up some charts and templates and the lot.
Now I would like to "play" with NT trading capabilities. I have already the standard version (installed on another machine, but hardly used). So I would like to install NT standard version on a new PC. This new PC is where I have played with the simulation version and I do not want to lose any of the charts and templates there. Actually, if possible I would like to have both, simul and standard, there, together. Is there a way I can achieve this? Thanks and regards |

Hello,
Yes, this is possible for you to have the Simulation and Live version of NinjaTrader on the same PC. Please enter your live license into NinjaTrader. You can enter it from the Control Center -> Help -> License Key. This will allow you to select the sim account or live account when trading. You can select the account in any of the Account dropdown fields. |

OK, it worked, thank you.
Now I have a different problem: CAC40 futures: I cannot place orders from DOM or from chart into Interactive brokers. I get this message: "error regarding request -'pb'- cause - jextend.w.b(java:190) (320) Affected order : Buy 2 stop @ " I should add that I am connected to eSignal and IB and that the problem is just the CAC40. No problem with Dax and FTSE futures. Any idea? By the way, I could not send an e-mail to support from the help menu. " Error: expecting:220. received:421. Cannot conect to SMTP server............connect error 10060 Thanks |

- since you can't connect to NT SMTP default server: I suggest configuring your provider's SMTP server by Tools->Options->Misc
- please send traces and logs to "support AT ninjatrader DOT com" and refer to this post
