When I click "Import Ninjascript" the error immediately comes up:
"You have custom ninjascript files on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript archive file." I didn't think I had any custom ns files? |

Hello
Thank you for your post. Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies- not just one. 1. Open NinjaTrader 2. From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator 3. Select an indicator and double click on it. 4. A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators. 5. At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations. From there you have the option to remove the indicator or debug it. More information regarding debugging can be found at the link below: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3418

The error is:
"\\.psf\Home\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll could not be found" I'm on a mac and originally the install (well, program execution) failed because "My Documents" folder was linked to a networked location (.psf... above). So it's looking in the originally installed place, not the current "My Documents," which is on my local C:\... So how do I change where it's looking? |

Hello
Please send a note to support & include your Log & Trace files. Go to Help > Mail to Support > include files > click “Send” If you are not able to send the files in this manner then you can find these in your My Documents folder in the folders: 1. NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt 2. NinjaTrader 7 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt Make sure to attach these text (.txt) files to your response/email support AT ninjatrader DOT com and reference this forum thread. Thank you,
Chip
