cumulative volume and position in queue

Is cumulative volume and position in queue now available on the NT7 DOM? As i understand it, this has been a popular request for several years now.

    Hi goldtrader,

    Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, neither of these options are available currently. That said, I will forward your suggestion on to development.

I read in earlier posts, dating back several years, the exact same response regarding this matter. It would be nice if NT could be upfront with its customers as to why it will not make these relatively simple options available.

It is pretty clear that NT is refraining from making the options available for some reason.

        Hi goldtrader,

Sorry to give you that impression.

We do take these suggestions seriously. NT 7, for example, comes with over 300 user submitted feature requests in place. Unfortunately, these two suggestions happen not to have been included in NinjaTrader 7. That said, these are still on our list of future considerations - it's just that I have no ETA to provide you for implementation.

goldtrader, I totally agree with you. I have been waiting for this improvement for years. I had my hopes up that NT7 would include this feature but apparently not. I wonder if some other third party company could do this ? I would definitely pay a fee for it. NT's DOM has got miles to ride to match anything like X-Trader. Time will tell I guess.

Thanks for your prompt replies Kyle. It just seems that these are not complex additions and since they are so important to so many traders (one of the reasons for X Traders popularity), it would seem that it would be more of priority than having more defined price bars or some of the other charting bells and whistles, for instance.

Forget about Ninjatrader DOM volume. It will never come out.

NT can't implement that. Why ? The DOM is patented from Trading Technologies and NT has made contact with them to use it.

Its appearance is determined from TT not from NT.

And here is my earlier posted image of Ninjatrader X depth of market concept

Thanks for the link Eduard. I knew there was something fishy going on. That's unfortunate that NT staff can't be upfront about it.

Hi Edward... is that real or did you just photoshop that? If it's real, where can I get it?

                    Hi,

Unfortunately it's not real. I made it in Paint as a design concept for NT version ''X''.
