Cool ADD doesnt load in NT7 from IB

Hi
Just upgraded to NT7 from NT6.5 and am setting up my charts. I cant get ADD to load. I connect to zenfire 1st then IB second. The TICK loads just fine. ADD loads fine in NT6.5.

I am on a 64bit PC running vista.

Thank you for your post.

Did you use the same connection order in NinjaTrader 6.5?

Have you double-check the symbol mapping in 6.5 for NinjaTrader 7 (for ADD)?

Hi
Not sure what you mean. I selected ADD from the Instrument Manager. I went into the Instrument Editor and compared all the parameters. they look identical to the ones in NT6.5.
Not sure what is going on.

Hello Jimbo,

What interval does your ADD chart uses in NinjaTrader 7?

Are you able to load ^ADD data if you connect to IB only?

Do you receive real-time data if you select the ^ADD in the Control Center-->Orders-tab?

Try the following. Disconnect from IB and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments.

Restart NinjaTrader and check if you can load historical data as per the ^ADD instrument.

Hi
I use 1min interval, but have tried many others.
Still doesnt load with IB only.
No realtime data in Contol Center Orders Tab for ADD. There is when TICK is selected, though.
I disconnected from IB as you suggested and Reset Instruments and re-opened NT7 and still no ADD load.
I appreciate your responses.
Still scratching my head.

I have discovered that ADD will load in realtime but no back data. Maybe this normal from IB.
What do you think?

Unfortunately, my testing account is not authorized for ADD so I'm unable to confirm or deny this.

How to proceed is up to you:
I can test on my end to confirm this if you'd grant me access to your connection. Alternately, IB support should be able to confirm/deny this.

I'm seeing the same results on my end when testing with your connection.

As an aside, we removed your last post and the username/password, but you may want to change the password as this information was public for a few minutes.
