ATM strategies not appearing in control panel

Since upgrading to NT7 a few days ago
Neither my active or historical ATM strategies are appearing under the control panel "strategies" tab

Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader 7 provides strategy viewing for NinjaScript strategies now and as such the ATM strategies will no longer be displayed in the strategies tab.

Not really sure what you mean by this?

If strategy viewing is not possible using the tab why is it still there?????

Unfortunately the Control Center-->Strategies-tab does not reflect ATM strategies anymore in NinjaTrader 7. You will only see automated NinjaScript strategies under the Strategies-tab.

In version 6.5 I would use the "Strategies" tab to see a real-time list of all the ATM Strategy trades I made that day. I would also see any active trades going on with their realized or unrealized result.

I share the frustration with "grego" and with "Turtle Trader" (from the thread mentioned) that this is a HUGE step backwards for me. I quickly stopped using the NT7 beta because of this, hoping this would be fixed in the final product. I now see the final product also shares this new behavior.

So, there is no easy way to see a list of trades like there was in NT 6.5? I've tried using the "Account Performance" tab to give me the data I want and it does not work the way I want... which is the way the old "Strategies" tab was.

Unfortunately, I will not be using NT7 going forward due to this. Disappointing.

whats about ATMs that are fired from strategys ?

what does the strategy -tab shows if strategys enter trades with an ATM ?

Hello,

It is a new design implementation that we are currently sticking too. The strategies tab is meant only to display active running strategies and no longer displayed ATM Strategies as we do not define these as an automated strategy.

ATM Strategies run solely in the orderEntry window at this time. I know of no plans from development to change this currently.

gotta ask again because this is about using automated strategy :

what about ATMs that are fired from an auto-strategy ?

what does the strategy -tab shows if strategys enter trades with an ATM and the strategy manages this AMT automaticaly by changing targets and the stops ?

Hello,

ATM's will no longer show in the Strategies tab at this time, no matter where they are fired from.

Strategies tab will not show anything in this case, In this case you would need to use the Positions tab and or orders tab to keep tabs on this.

Or open a chart and enabled the chart trader to see the Stops and targets in the market same with an ATM Strategy.
