Serious concerns about NT7 Account Performance and other bugs not getting fixed
I thought it was just me but a friend of mine has noticed it too. The NT account performance is often inaccurate.
I first noticed that my trade markers are often pointing the wrong way. That is the first clue that NT is confused about whether I'm opening or closing a trade.
yesterday 9/30 the account performance results were including a trade from 9/29. It happened to my friend too.
yesterday the MFE & MAE were completely wrong. Way off. Like 54 ticks off. NT is confused.
And today my friend tells me the performance shows his entry is over a point off (ES).
in the past I've reported issues and I'm asked to provide my workspace, my charts, logs, etc. I understand that you guys need all that to track down problems. But at the same time I am getting the impression that the Ninjatrader company hasn't been using NT7 in real trading conditions. Especially on sim. I understand real money testing is not easy but still could be done by trading 1 share of a liquid stock.
How could someone use Ninja for a few weeks and not get trade markers the wrong way? Or account perf incorrect. or wrong MAE. or a wrong entry? Or the shadow strategy getting activated by itself?
My guess is this is occuring and people just aren't noticing. I rarely compare my real entries to what's in the account performance.. I just happen to notice some mistakes.
Seriously, beta 21 shouldn't have a trade from yesterday in today's performance report. I spent 15+ years in software development specializing in automated testing of software systems for half of that.
I hope you can test this out in real trading conditions every day to work out the bugs. Trading is a very serious business. Bugs can be costly.
Sorry for the rant, I love NT7. The performance is awesome. It's great. But these last bugs have to be fixed.
Please don't ask me to send logs & workspaces, I have done that and it hasn't helped. AFAIK none of the issues I've reported have been fixed. If you guys trade with NT7 8 hours/day every day you'll find the bugs. Trust me.

cunparis, thanks for reporting it in and I can understand your position - we're working diligently testing NT7 beta and reproducing each report submitted to stabilize and fix issues - please do submit trace / logs / database for this anomaly you noted and please also include which exact trade you were seeing misrepresented so we can check into and investigate matters.
