Hello
I'd like to know why Zen Fire doesn't support the SMI contract (Swiss Index futures, Symbol: FSMI). In Ninja's Instrument Manager the SMI appears under the market description EurexSW, and since Zen supports all other Eurex products I thought it would make sense to include the SMI. Thanks |

Hi laocoon,
Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, I am unable to say the reasons why Zen-Fire does not support that particular instrument, and for more specifics on the particular offerings of the Zen-Fire data feed you will want to contact your broker. It would be possible to get data for the SMI from another source, such as a data only provider. One such provider that would offer data for the SMI would be Kinetick, and you can review all the types of data available with Kinetick at the link below. https://www.kinetick.com/purchase Additionally, you can use Kinetick for free End of Day data. More information at the link below. http://www.kinetick.com/features

Hi Ryan
Thanks for your reply. I contacted my broker (Mirus) but they just said that the SMI isn't supported. Kinetick is an interesting option, however data alone won't be enough as I want to trade the SMI. Is there another option besides opening a second account with a broker that supports the SMI? (Would hate to do that for just one market) Thanks |

Hi laocoon,
Thank you for that clarification regarding the SMI, but as for trading that contract you will want a broker that supports that instrument. How you choose to handle that, whether by adding a broker or changing brokers will depend on your needs. You can review our supported brokers below. http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...ng_brokers.htm
