Hi,
Is it possible to use Trading Technologies for brokerage services only, while relying on something like DTN IQ for charting and data services? |

Hello cgeorgan,
Thank you for your post. Yes you may use Trading Technologies as your broker and IQFeed for data. In the scenario you would want to connect to IQFeed first and Trading Technologies second. I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Multiple Connections. http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...nections1.html

So what you're suggesting is a trick you can only find using Tradestation? Specifically, I'm looking to use TT and DTN IQ.

The more I look into this, the more it appears as if this merely addresses where NT should look first for market data. There's nothing in the instruction manual that specifies how to direct NT to use one data provider *strictly* as a broker, and one *strictly* as a data provider. Does this functionality appear when I buy the "live trading" version? I don't see anywhere where I can set up an account for trading and one for data - |

You may connect to multiple data providers at the same time within simulation. When using a Live NinjaTrader license key you will then have the ability to select your live account from the Accounts drop down menu.
