Status Box

[Gumphrie]

This indicator displays the high, low, close and number of ticks moved for the current and previous bar. It also has a built in bar timer. You can display it on any panel in any background color and fontsize. It can be positioned in 6 different ways, top right, bottom right, stretched right, top left, bottom right, and stretched left. Also, if you increase your chart's right hand margin beyond the default width of size of 120 it will also automatically resize itself to fit.

So its a good general purpose indicator for any chart system. The screenshot is showing its use with the Adaptive CCI. Another option I like is putting it on the top price panel in a top-left position.




To import:

- Download the file contained in this thread to your desktop
- From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
- Select the downloaded file

I really like how I can use the Status Bar in the upper left corner and not have to give up precious real estate. It would be great to have the day's O-H-L data also. I have another status panel that has this data, but I don't like having to add so much extra space on the right side of my chart.

Could you add this data for us? Thanks so much for all your hard work.

Sounds like a good idea.
I assume that would be another whole column which would probably be best made optional.

Nice job, negates the need for the Data Box. One request, can you include a parameter choice to have the box display recenter at current price after each bar, so our eyes don't have to move away from the market action? Thanks. (Also, I'm looking at it after hours, so I don't know if the bar range number displays in red or green, depending on whether it was an upbar or downbar)

Hi, I like the tool.

but I can only see some quotes with the symbol "FESX" all the rest ( NQ, FGBL) are a blank green field.

Any hints ?

I am a big time Chart Trader. The only downside is the Chart Trader controls area takes up so much screen space. It would be great if the current PnL could be displayed on an active chart.

Gumphrie, I really appreciate this indicator.

Please can you add bar volume to the display - current bar and previous bar. However, so as to minimize resource usage, it might be best for volume to only update every second.

Another useful indication would be current and previous bar midpoints.
