I've read through the NT 7 support guide and the forum, but I am unclear on this issue. Currently, I'm trading an automated strategy with account sync = true, connection loss handling set to "recalculate," and "immediately submit live working historical orders" checked. Are these settings correct for bringing about the following scenario?
Disconnected and then reconnected. Strategy continues functioning as it did before the disconnect, automatically incorporating data from the disconnected period. If any orders would have been placed during the disconnected period, the trades are placed immediately. In effect, then, the only difference in trading results I should see (end of day) between a platform that was connected the whole time and another platform that was disconnected during a time when the strategy placed an order is that the disconnected platform would show a delayed entry for the particular order that was placed during the disconnected period. No other differences should be present between the two platforms.
Thank you very much.
