Hello All,
I live here in Australia , and I need to offset the data as it appears in the charts by minus 14 hours, so that the data in the charts appear as it would if I lived in the USA. Where in the properties section can this be done? Unless this feature is avialable I am unable to use the market Profile or pivoi points , etc to use the day session times for their calculation. All help appreciated Thanks Michael B mdtmn@optushome.com.au |

Realtime and historical data should be normalized to the timezone of your PC.
- which data provider are you connected to? - which timezone is your PC running in?

Hello Dierk,
My Ninja software uses zenfire data feed. My pc time is local time here in Australia, that is , we are 14 hours in front. So the USA day session starts at the moment at 11.30 pm , my time, and that is what is reflected in the charts. Ninja has some great features which I would like to use , but unless I can offset the data, as in the "data offset " function in Sierra, I can see no way of using the charts for calcualtions on pivots , market profile etc etc Thanks Michael B mdtmn@optushome.com.au |

Unfortunately this is not supported. However, you could set the timezone of your PC to timezone you want to offset.

Hi Dierk,
As I trade here in Australia and the Asian markets , this is not a practical solution, I guess you only want to have a client base in the USA. Thanks Michael B |

Hi Dierk,
Yes , the software does have a lot of excellant features. And there must be a way of archiving this , data offset. Can the ninja software be directsd to a "ghost" of simulated pc clock? And if so ,would you know where I can obtain such software? or Can I specify session times that an indicator uses to calculate its value? And as I live here in Australia , and the USA day session appears over two days charts , the session time function or option, must be able to use today's data and yesterday's data. An example would be ; start session for indicator calculation at 11.30 pm today minus one end session for indicator calculation at 6.15 am today Thanks for your help in this matter Michael B mdtmn@optushome.com.au |

Unfortunately this is not supported. We do not know of any software providing this feature. >> Can I specify session times that an indicator uses to calculate its value? Indicators can not have different session times than the underlying chart.

Hi Dierk,
" Can I specify session times that an indicator uses to calculate its value? Indicators can not have different session times than the underlying chart." Is there any way of specifying that the underlying chart session time is over two days, ie, start = 11.30 pm yesterday end = 6.15 am today thanks Michael B mdtmn@optushome.com.au ________________ |
