Hello,
I am receiving a deserialize error on code that worked previously when I attempt to load a strategy that worked previously. Also the strategy does not produce the same result with the same code. I have reset the db and the problem persists. Removing the strategy and indicator source code removes the error however, putting the source code back and recompiling it shows error return. Paul |

Paul, could you please post the trace file from today that contains the errors related to this deserialization error?

Paul, are you sure that is the correct file/date? The only entries in the file you posted (trace.20100622) are related to IB account updates.

where would I find the correct file? This is from C:\...\My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\trace

Paul, that is the correct location. Could you please post the trace file from the day before (20100621)?

Thank you, Paul. The trace files do not contain any additional information regarding this error. How is the indicator/strategy serialized? The error says there was a problem with the XML file.
Unfortunately serializing and deserializing procedures are unsupported. However, I can point you to our simple explanation: User Definable Color Inputs.
