Exporting data from historical data manager just doesn't work. (I tested several times on my own computer, and a friend with full licensed version also had exactly same problem, which I observed by screen-sharing)
Hangs up with message "Retrieving export data".... forever (

Hello,
Thank you for your forum post. Does the file actually export or is it only stuck with the status bar? Also what instrument and expiry are you trying to export and what data type are you trying to export as far as was this Last data for minute, tick, or daily data? Also about around what dates where you exporting? I look forward to assisting you further.

The file doesn't export.
It was $GBPUSD Ask data 1minute, about 4 or 5 months' of data from 2010 (but it happened on other data in the past too - I just can't remember what symbol etc that was.) Have you tried exporting data without this issue? |

Hello,
I was able to test this and was able to export this without issue. Can you please send us the trace and log files for the date that you tried to export this data so that we may see if we can find any errors and further assist. Please send this files with a You can find these files at the following locations, please attach these to a return email: Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20100606 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date) Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20100606 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date) I look forward to assisting you further.
