google finance external data feed

Hi,

Does someone know if there is a place where we can get a simple application linking to the DLL API which permits to receive data from Google Finance realtime quotes ?

In general, is there a place where such applications are found (for different/other free data sources), for NT ?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately real time data from Google is not supported at this time within NinjaTrader. Within NinjaTrader 7 you may connect in order to receive Historical Daily data for Equities. I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

Is it ok for me to build such a 3rd party application that would plug on the DLL and act like a proxy.. where anybody could plug-in some perl/python/other script to fetch the data ?

example:
NT Dll/COM <----> [such a software] <--> fetch scripts

Or maybe a future release of NT will support it ?

This may be done in order to receive real time level 1 data however this is outside our level of support. Others on the forum may have some input on how to achieve this or give you some helpful tips.
