Question Market replay: I want to get filled when price penetrates...

Hello,

I'm using market replay and want to get my order filled when price penetrates my limit order, not before.
That was possible in NT6, how I can do that in NT7?

thanks

dario,

NT7 uses the same fill algorithm as NT6.5. If you are using a NS strategy you can choose different Fill Types when you start the strategy.

Default fill type = price has to cross the limit price to fill
Liberal fill type = price touches limit price and it will fill

Thanks for your answer Josh, but I remember that in 6.5 when you go to "Tools>options>simulator" and do not mark checkbox "Enforce immediate fills" your order would be filled only when price penetrates your order value.
When you do exact same thing in NT7 your order gets filled the moment when price touches your order value.
All my orders are simple ATM strategies.

dario,

Unchecking "Enforce immediate fills" in both NT versions simply means fill it based on NT's proprietary algorithms for simulating real-time fills. The algorithm takes into account many things like trade volume, bid/ask volume, time of order to simulate order queue placement, and random time delays to simulate exchange delays and internet latency. It will fill when the simulator decides your order is suitable to be filled, but this option never limited your orders to fill only when price crossed the limit price.
