Default Alert on the Chart

Please, I want to know make the Alert Notice on the chart
UpTrend Alert
  1. Simple 18 day Moving Average (MA) of today >= Simple Moving Average (SMA) of yesterday, And SMA of today >+ SMA 9MA of yesterday.
  2. SMA 18 day MA of yesterday < simple 18 day MA of day before yesterday, or simple 9 day MA of yesterday < simple 9 day MA of day before yesterday.
DownTrend Alert
  1. Simple 18 day MA of today <= simple 18 day MA of yesterday. And simple 9 day MA of yesterday
  2. simple 18 day MA of yesterday > simple 18 day MA of day before yesterday, OR simple 9 day MA of yesterday > simple 9 day MA of day before yesterday.

Forsouls, you would need to create a strategy monitoring these conditions for you with our wizard, and then issue or Alerts based on those -

Default Strategy wizard for building Alert

It did not allow me proceed " User defined input"
this error message came up. 'Invalid input parameter. Valid names consistof letter succeeded by letters or digits. First character must be uppercase'.

I do not understand.

Yes, this is expected behavior. You must give your User Defined Input a name beginning with letters such as SMA9.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

thanks Christopher, it worked. But I just know what am suppose to do about the condition and action.
I have never do not this before. I need help with someone to direct and guide me.

I am sorry we don't create the strategies for people, but if you give it a try and post screen shots of your parameters we can give you tips.

I cannot proceed beyond the "Condition Builder window"
I do not what to select for what l am trying to build.

Hello Forsouls,

I have attached a couple screenshots showing how to do two of your conditions.

Cond1.png = Simple 18 day Moving Average (MA) of today >= Simple Moving Average (SMA) of yesterday

Cond2.png = SMA 18 day MA of yesterday < simple 18 day MA of day before yesterday

These should get you started.
